The publisher operates this site at minimal cost in terms of time and money. The publisher (and contributors) do not earn any money from advertising, receive compensation for posts, or in any way gain a material benefit.
Electric Embers, a worker owned cooperative, provides the hosting service for this site. They are a great group of people who have committed themselves to creating space on the internet for those interested in social and economic justice.
The views expressed are those of the author and do not represent anyone else connected with the site. Likewise, any views posted by readers (subscribers) should only be seen as their own. That said, the publisher reserves the right to delete any comment or post for any reason.
To Comment
You need to log in to comment. To log in, you will need to register as a subscriber.
Once registered, you may comment as long as you are logged into your subscriber account. In general, we maintain a “free speech” concept, however, the publisher reserves the right to remove comments for any reason.
Subscribers
Anyone may sign up as a subscriber; however, subscribers that appear to be bots or not real people interested in the content will be purged at the whim of the publisher. To help the publisher know that you are a bot, post a relevant comment on one of the posts! Around the first of each month, the publisher will scrub the user list.
To Contribute
If you are interested in contributing to the discussion by donating your labor and ideas about worker ownership you are welcome. Please follow this protocol.
- Sign up as a subscriber.
- Send me an email (johnamac<at>me<dot>com).
- In that email, explain that you would like to join the contributors, how you are thinking of contributing (and how often), and a short bio.
As with comments, your posts will also operate under a general free speech paradigm. We want to have a discussion and lively debate but within the framework that we are all on the same side of working towards worker ownership and building a world without bosses. Of course, at some this is not without some limits, which are mainly at the discretion of the publisher.
